To see God do even more
Anchor Church began as a small, faithful community during the COVID-19 pandemic. We were a group of people deeply hungry to know and follow Jesus, so we met online via Zoom, praying together and studying the Bible. With a core team of 20-30 committed individuals, we took a leap of faith and began gathering in person on Easter Sunday in 2021.
Our first gathering quickly outgrew the space we had at home after just one week. We moved from a hotel to a school, doing our best to serve our community over the next year. Then, in 2022, God opened a door for us to lease an old office space. We knocked down walls to create a space that would allow us to grow, fitting 105 people in our main room and 30 in our kids’ area. But God’s blessing didn’t stop there—we’ve grown so much that we now hold two services and are once again at full capacity.
Our next step of faith
This brings us to our Multiply Campaign, our next step of faith to expand our reach and impact. Over the past few years, we’ve seen hundreds of people place their faith in Christ. Last year alone, we baptized 24 people and are on track to baptize 40 this year. We’ve witnessed lives being radically transformed—people set free from depression, anxiety, and addiction. Families have been restored, and marriages mended. Our prayer is simple: we want to see God do even more.
To do that, we are aiming to raise $150,000. These funds will allow us to renovate our current space and create additional rooms for our growing kids' ministry. We plan to knock down more walls in our sanctuary to add another 70 seats. We also want to upgrade our sound equipment, lighting, and technology to enhance the level of excellence in how we serve our community.
